TDI’m the author of the books Fizz: How Soda Shook Up the World and Replay: The History of Video Games.

When I’m not writing books, I can usually be found writing articles or doing editing work for publications covering everything from video games to social services, such as The Times, Stuff, Eurogamer, Community Care, Children & Young People Now and more.

Beyond that, I have done talks about the history of games for London South Bank University and Get into Gaming and regularly appear in the media as a commentator about games for places such as Al Jazeera English, BBC Radio ScotlandForeign Policy, The Scotsman, IGN and many more.

I have also produced on business intelligence reports such as Third Sector’s Charity Brand Index.
