The British Invasion of gaming

article_imgRecently went up to Bletchley Park to deliver one of the National Museum of Computing’s Winter Lectures where I talked about the impact of British games on video games worldwide. You can read the museum’s write up of the talk here.

The event also gave me the chance to snoop around the museum, which is definitely worth a visit just to see the recreation of the Colossus computer – the world’s first digital computer – let alone all the other goodies on display.

Was also great to chat with some of the gamers in the audience at the end, who helped restore my faith in how nice most game players are after several weeks of GamerGate.
